Hardwick Hall

An Elizabethan masterpiece now owned by the National Trust. Hardwick's stunning halls and beautiful landscape have been created by a cast of thousands. It was the formidable Bess of Hardwick who first created the halls in the late 1500s.

You can walk, cycle or drive to nearby Hardwick Hall.

Chatsworth is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family.

The garden is famous for it's rich history, historic and modern waterworks and sculptures, the Victorian rock garden and the maze - there is plenty to discover at every turn.
